Izwan currently serves at Leave a Nest Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. under the Talent Development Division, where he focuses on advancing career development among graduates and youth through both professional and community-based initiatives. His involvement in the establishment of the Malaysia NAIST Alumni Association (MNAA) reflects his broader mission to strengthen capacity building within Malaysia’s science, technology, and community development landscape. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biological Science from the Molecular Immunobiology Laboratory (under Prof. Dr. Taro Kawai) at NAIST in 2019, and later pursued postdoctoral research in Medical Microbiology at Universiti Malaya. He transitioned into industry through his current role, continuing to bridge academia, innovation, and talent development.
