“The Malaysian NAIST Alumni Association (MNAA) is a community that connects Malaysian graduates of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), fostering collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing across academia, industry, and society.”
Wishing all Malaysians a joyous 68th Merdeka and Malaysia Day! As we celebrate our Independence Day (31 August) and Malaysia Day (16 September) this year, let us embrace the spirit of “Malaysia MADANI: Rakyat Disantuni” — a theme that places the well-being of the people at the heart of our nation’s journey toward unity and progress. May this year’s celebrations inspire us to cultivate compassion, inclusivity, and community, as we honour our shared identity and build a brighter future together.

The 1st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of MNAA
📅 6 September 2025 🕑 2:00–3:30 PM (GMT+8) 📍 Zoom (Online) ➡️ Members gathered for the 1st Annual General Meeting to review reports, elect the first Executive Committee (2025–2026), and mark a new chapter for MNAA.
MNAA provides a platform for alumni to connect across industries, research fields, and professional disciplines. We aim to bridge Malaysia and Japan in science, technology, and innovation through joint projects, academic partnerships, and industry collaborations.
We believe in giving back by guiding the next generation of scientists, technologists, and professionals. Alumni play a vital role in mentoring students and young professionals—sharing insights, offering career advice, and opening doors to new opportunities.
Beyond professional networks, MNAA fosters a sense of belonging and cultural appreciation. We bring alumni together through events, reunions, and outreach programs that celebrate shared experiences at NAIST and the friendships that last a lifetime.
